I found 6 others as well for a total of 7 near dates. I was thinking it would be a good way to start my buy, sell, trade transactions on here. How does that work exactly? Does the buyer just send a check and the other person send the coin? I like this as my first BST because it’s a small risk and I can finally get my feet wet on BST. What do you guys think?

Check ebay for loose circulated examples

The last on I sold was a while ago and was for maybe 5 or 6 bucks

Not worth any grading fees. Perhaps $5-10 on ebay. Recent MS64 PCGS sold for $15.50 (302618037824).

try the lot on ebay. Be sure to calculate all the fees and expenses you will incur when you decide on a list price. Or try it on BST first.

Is that blur green stuff on reverse PVC? Is the grade near MS63?

$1. Finding anyone who cares about that variety and isn't a "cherry-picker" is a real feat.

$5-$6 about right, maybe $10-$12 for a nice raw unc.
I'd be happy with that as a seller.

Nice find.. and cool to see someone who enjoys SBA's. Very under-appreciated coin.

Many albums have a separate space for them, so SBA collectors could be looking

everything has a value attached to it and these would be anywhere from $5 for an AU to $20 for a gem BU. the problem isn't in assigning value, it is in finding the buyer to pay that price. to be honest, these aren't really that uncommon.

I don't know many dealers who pay more than a buck or buck-and-a-half for them. They are too common with far too few collectors.

Try the BST first... it is a 'no fee' selling zone.... Those do not command much of a premium, especially ungraded. Those do not look like they would be worth the grading fees...Compare them to the graded one posted above. Definitely dip the first one in acetone in case that green residue is PVC... Cheers, RickO

You mean there actually are SBA collectors?

Well, probably not many, but there are collectors for almost anything....

it seems others gave pretty much the same "value" that I did which is what the OP asked. for some reason you see a need to impugn whatever I say, perhaps it's some sort of know-it-all syndrome.

have a good day, I'll PM whenever I post so you don't miss anything, OK troll??

They sell from 4-20 on eBay depending on condition. They wouldn’t do well on the bst because most of the folks here don’t give a rip about moderns and those that do are probably not looking to pick up one of these for anything more than a steal.

    You need more fiber.

I wasn't impugning anything you said. Your retail price is correct, I just added the wholesale price. While dealers will sell them in the $5+ range, it's not a coin that they will usually purchase on a slim margin like, say, a 64 Morgan.

That's all I was attempting to say.

By the way, I only stumbled upon this grating response by accident. If you want me to see your tantrums, you need to tag me or respond directly to me (use the "Quote" button).
