**NM Found it. ** We used to be able to see info on coin prices. If I remember correctly you could find out what coins were trending up as well as down in price. Is there a place in the program to view this information and if so where is it located? Thanks!

Just go the Price Guide tab on the PCGS website, that's where they have all the price charts and daily price changes.

I wish they would track all auction sales, not just the most visible ones.
Hard to do for auctions that are not on the Internet.
I've never seen them include ebay or private treaty sales.
Some ebay sales are included in the PCGS Auction Prices Realized, although usually they do not link to the item.
Great Collections is included, with links.

This is not quite the same as the auction results for the top specimens on PCGS Coin Facts, or the summarized PCGS Price Guide tables, but PCGS does make a lot of price data available, at no charge.
I love everything about Coinfacts. Having said that, they do not capture all public auction results. I primarily follow the Lincoln series and I can illustrate lots of examples at Legend Auctions, Great Collections, etc. that are missed. Not complaining. I'm sure logistics are hard.

One other aspect of this is that the auction results mean a lot more when you can see photos of the item. About the only site that is reliable in that regard is Heritage.
Another aspect is that the auction results are listed by grade only. Sometimes you will a very low, “outlier price.” Quite often when you investigate that sale further you will learn that the item was an “AU details” piece (for example), which, of course, makes all the difference.
Also it is quite possible for NGC and PCGS to cherry pick auction results to promote their retail price figures on their sites. Also it would not be hard for the auction companies to make unwanted results hard to find. I sometimes wonder why there aren't more examples at certain grade levels when I know many more have sold.
