This is my first post. Also my first time taking coin pics and don't think I did very well.
Please let me know if I should try to take some better ones.
I'm looking for some feedback on this 1962 Roosevelt.
Thanks

Keep working on the pics.
Can't tell from the ones posted. Toned MS is all.

Welcome !!!
Thank you for the welcome.
And yes, I will work on my pics until they are better and then try again.
Roosies are my series. From these photos, I would say the obverse is a 65/66 and the reverse looks, from these pics which aren't the greatest, an AU58.
Welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here.

Lighting
What @Stooge said.
Look up axial lighting and work on that technique - will help with toned coins.
@thisistheshow .... Welcome aboard.... cannot tell much from the pictures, and are the 'marks' on the reverse on the coin? Dirt or dings? Cheers, RickO
Looks AU or low MS. to the boards!

I believe that is a proof striking with some toning. The lighting is poor enough that I am not certain if it has acquired some highpoint wear or not, but either way it is still a proof.

Proof 66
I tried getting a better image, but currently using my phone, and there is no auto focus plus other issues. I'll refrain from wasting anyone's time with more pics until I get a better setup.
I appreciate the comments. The marks on the reverse are actually just the toning.
I never paid much attention to proof Roosevelts, but I love the way the blue just splashes across this one. I am thinking I might have to look for some more, because this one certainly has potential for a $2 purchase.
Looks like a toned proof Roosie (and not attractively toned either) in rather low grade.
Worth bullion value, realistically.
Welcome aboard @thisistheshow .
There is a LOT to learn....just keep reading, looking at coins, and looking at coins, and reading, and looking at coins and reading.
