Might be tough to guess from these pics with this type of chaos toning

I think that XF-40 would fit. (I usually undergrade).
Pete
This might be the hardest coin to grade from pics that I have ever seen!
I think I see wear so I will split the other two guesses and go with AU55
I would not have come close on this one with those pics. So far there is a technicality that makes your answer "the closest" so far. But it looks like the answer on this one will be a shocker to all. I did not get to see the coin before seeing the grade or I too would have been surprised.
I will hint though that the ebay bucks 15% bonanza was a great timing for this one.
Tough to see the coin at all through all that gunk. 45?
Are we looking at a test strike? Something like that? I'm getting the same mixed signals the rest of you are complaining about.
62 based on a wild guess. i think the pic may be overlit, washing out all detail.
It isnt gunk. Its silver sulfide caused by a chemical reaction.
It's hard to read IGWT
Too hard to grade
I saw it on ebay so I won't say but please post a pic once you receive it. Looks like it has some odd toning going on.
So far it would gold bean in every grade guessed.
Yeah looks like they used those rings with with the dozen lights.
Side note will you being photographing in Philly this year?
I was thinking 62, also. Now I'm really curious.
It looks like a really weak strike. The lighting looks like it was set up to get the color to pop and not highlight the luster. Looking at the reverse near LAR in DOLLAR, I see a hint of how the luster could be on the rest of the coin. Based on that, I will make a guess of MS-64.

I'll make it a short GTG period since its tough. I probably would have guessed 62 myself from the pics.
Why not MS65?
AU 55.

I think you would be willing to pay about $400 for it
it looks like a really old painting with cracking in the paint
Close. It was a little under. But the ebay bucks sealed the deal
Wow....I was really off. The soft strike threw me for a loop. I DO like the toning. Congratulations.

That's why I tossed out "test" or "adjustment" strike. IGWT and PEACE are very hard to see, and the LIBERTY lettering is weak....it seems. But it may all be a result of the photography....
the luster on that thing must pop off the charts
From the pictures, 66 makes no sense to me. I think there to be significant rub on the reverse........but if only a weak strike the grade should have been limited to 64 Max.
OINK
I would have guessed 64... surprised at 66.... that is one that really requires 'in hand' evaluation. Cheers, RickO
I think the lighting and toning is washing out the details. Are these your pictures or the sellers?

Sellers. But I probably wont have any much better pics. Will try.
