Two coins, first the Half Dime. To my eyes it looks like a strike-through of some kind, probably a string of cloth. it is impressed into the coin and doesn't appear to be a scratch, isn't a continuous impression.
Second, a Barber Dime with what looks like a huge die crack that almost runs from rim to rim. Looking at the coin with a loupe it is clearly not something that was attached to the coin post strike, the excess metal runs continuously from the coin.
So tell me what think these are, if you agree with me. Thanks in advance.

I'm going with scratch and PMD (rim/edge affected)
The Dime is solder, was probably done
for an eventual jewelry piece.
On the Half Dime, I see what you're
saying about it not being continuous,
but it doesn't look like a struck thru
to me, based on the photo only.
Dime was solder, as previously posted, maybe used as a button or something.
Half dime looks like a scratch from the images I see.
I would say the top one is a scratch, but worn on the high spots... and agree with the solder statement on the bottom coin....Cheers, RickO
