Dont know if this website has been discussed before, but it is a treasure trove of auction catalogs and other publications. Some of the catalogs go back to the mid-1800's. Many entries are duplicates, but with some perseverance some may find this enlightening, or at the least, very entertaining.
Here is a sample search for a 1792 half disme. Happy researching.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
It is a great resource and @RogerB contributes to it with his research. Cheers, RickO
We (Newman Portal) are working on the duplicate search results, the problem is related to keeping the search engine completely in sync with the site contents, which are continually changing.
More information is constantly added to the Portal, so keep checking back if you can't find something.
Any questions may be forwarded to NNPCurator@wustl.edu. The Newman Numismatic Portal (https://nnp.wustl.edu/) is administered by Washington University in St. Louis via a grant from the Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
This is a very important data source for collectors. They not only are maintaining many long gone catalogs, bulletins, club publications and other materials, but they are gradually adding digital data from NARA. Most of the Denver Mint "Letters Sent" volumes are already available, as are some of the Mint HQ volumes.
Thanks. Saved to favorites.
