I picked up a nice Seated Liberty Dollar for my 7070 and wanted to see what the CU Members had to say about her in comparison to our host. The grade will be revealed in approx. 48 hours.

Thank you for your interest and comments!

Very nice upper end EF. Great coin for an album, but might be hard to match with other dates. Now, about the 1850 and 1852 dollars.... :)

I'm going to shoot higher....Looks 55 or better to me. But I'll be conservative and say 55.

I like it as a 53 with good detail.

I'm with 55. Overall wear, regardless of luster, seem to determine the grade for AU seated dollars.

The lights seem to be a bit hot on the sellers images and Bob's images seem to be more "correct"...to me anyway.

I'm far from an expert on Seated material, but I was thinking 50-55. It's a nice example.

53 sounds good. Great patina and no marks worth mentioning, a terrific example.

I like it a lot. It should fit well in your 7070. Your pictures are nice. High end AU on a good day.

I have to go with 45. Wouldn't be surprised if it went 50.

Are we close to a reveal?

Most GTG are interesting....but this one caught my attention mainly because I seem to be well off of the average guess, and yet I still stick with my guess. ;)

Looking for either redemption, or embarrassment, as the case may be. ;)

Guess, looking back, I wasn't THAT far above the average. Guess I was confused by the XF guesses. I've been casually looking for an upgrade in the XF range, and will gladly pay for one that looks like this! :)

Thanks, nice coin. And not one of the really common dates. I guess the reason these aren't more popular is that they don't come as flashy as later dollars and are expensive in comparison?
