My first CAC!! Bust Half. Grade Posted!!

In starting my collection of Bust Halves, I bought a low grade 1835 that I now am replacing it with this pickup. I realized that I would not be happy with very low grade coins. I really was not interested in continuing down that road. Didn’t want to upgrade so soon but I came across this one that I liked. It fits nicely with my other coins. I think once I get the coin in hand it will look nice. The seller’s photos were kind of grainy but I took a chance.
Any thoughts on the grade?

Nice choice. Looks about 35.
Lance.
Really nice coin. I agree with the 35 above, but my first instinct was actually XF40.
Nice old CBH. Looks about 30 to me.

My first reaction was EF40 and I think it is quite attractive, regardless of grade. Nice job!

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
I would give her a VF35.

I would join those in the 35 camp.
Very close to EF. They like to please submitters, but get tougher as you move up the scale greatly.
VF35. Although wouldn't be too surprised with XF40. It's very borderline. Although the rubbing on the forehead is probably what kept it back if it is in a 35 holder.

I'm torn between VF 35 and XF 40.
I'll play it safe and say VF 35.

35 or 40 it's a nice looking coin, congrats.
40 because of its originality
XF40
That's a nice, wholesome CBH. I grade it EF-40 ... although my first thought was EF-45. Good luck with your set!

Looks to be a 35 in the pictures.....Cheers, RickO
First instinct was 40. I will go with that.
Wow...can so many forum grade guessers be wrong??
I'll bucks the trend here and Guess..45!
If it has more luster then we are seeing..and it's deemed to be more flat struck than worn...
(35 was my first impression though )

37.5......obverse 35.........reverse 40
Like a couple of previous posts, I'm on the fence between VF35 and XF40. It's more likely to have gotten the CAC sticker at the lower grade level, so I'll guess VF35. Nice coin!
XF45
VF30, maybe a 35 on a very generous day. The way these graders churn and burn them though, wouldn't be surprised if it slabbed 35-40.
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

VF-35. Nice Coin!

You guys are amazing!!! If I had to plot a Bell Curve(who remembers those?), the 35 to 40 group was the majority of guesses. Few outliers on top and bottom of scale.
XF 40 is the grade
