from S9 to S12 & no branch crack to the dentils yet.

Lance is correct. It's an Ozzie Newsome-1, I mean a Newcomb-1.

Common, but it looks to be an attractive specimen.
Well... I learned something today.... I am no copper expert by any means, so tips like this help to expand my knowledge.... I should look at the old cents I have (just a couple/few)... and check them out on coinfacts. Well.. it might snow today... Cheers, RickO
