1883 Silver Dollar Counterstruck STEVENS HOUSE . I did find some info on a Stevens House built in 1884 included with photos . Is This coin part of this houses history or just a dollar marked Stevens House . Does it have any collector interest or value ?
Thanks for any help

Nice coin. It is probably listed with info in Brunk's book on counterstamps.
No idea on value but it must be good for at least 50-100 dollars on eBay if I had to guess.
PCGS is slabbing Brunk-listed counterstamped coins as problem free, with often low pops. If it's listed in Brunk, I'd get it graded.

Counterstamps on silver dollars are less common than on other denominations so that adds a layer of desirability.

I took a look in Brunk and did not see it listed there. Nice counterstamp. Popular. As @JBK said, it is probably worth $50+ on eBay.

Neat piece. Probably counterstamped to commemorate the opening. Who knows if Stevens did it for himself or maybe he gave them out to workers etc. Value should be in the $100 +/- range i would think. I have one counterstamped with a name of a guy who invented the "flying buttress" I'll see if I can dig it out and post it. Identifiable counterstamps on morgans are pretty rare but they still don't command the money early bust halves with recognizable names or business do.
