I think that this Franklin Roosevelt piece from the 1930s with the dirigible flying over the Capital is neat. It’s also not that expensive to buy when you can find one.

I discovered this error coin raw in a 3 ring binder that was in a box full of low budget coins. I was hanging in my buddies B&M and one of the employees brought in a box from a buy he bought several years prior for us to poke through. I pointed it right out as an error. The two guys said 'No Way" looks like a cut down Half. I set it aside. Later that day I looked it up in the Rebook. Franklin Half on Dime....7-10K and threw it on the scale and it showed 2.5g, "That changes things". We had it graded and it came back the finest known for the date at the time. Set a Dime on a Half and see just how lucky that strike was to have both the date and the mintmark. We sold it at auction and split it 3 ways. Coin owner, shop owner, me discoverer. I bought a Saint with my take. Looking back I should have just bought them out, but we couldn't agree on the value. I still have the Saint my coin studies earned me. Coolest find I have made so far.

named Klahowya and Tillicum'
