Yes I will keep it and probably have PCGS conserve it, along with 4 other dates, later down the road. 1 coin left to finish my PCGS Graded Mercury Dime Set which is this one. https://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/alltimeset/158578

It's the old split grade 62/55 so 58 for giggles?
AU 55 also.
I was going to say 58 but before posting I read the other posts and now second guessing myself. Perhaps I was being a bit too generous. Reverse looks 53-55ish but I think the obverse looks 58 to 60.
Yup split grade just as @shorecoll said above
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

I am stubborn but I think they gave this one a MS grade.
I'm at a 62 on this one. The very flat lighting is not helping in presenting any luster that may be present. Just look at how flat looking that gash across the upper fasces is, there is absolutely no shine to it. This one certainly needs a conservation.
I'm thinking a slightly weak struck dime and guessing 60.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
MS63 no/FB. May go up with a successful conservation.

The cosmetics aside, I do think it may go 62....if things are hidden perhaps a 60....Cheers, RickO

I do believe there is some beauty under that crud. Please letus know your results.
The flatness to the bottom set of bands on the reverse suggest circulation.
Why would anyone say "no FB?"
