Another Great Washington Quarter Variety Found in the Wild.

I found this coin on collectors.com and the picture was kinda fuzzy but decided to take a chance and if I was wrong I still needed the coin to fill the regular slot in my Registry Set. Now last week they sent me a coin but it was NOT the one that I ordered. I contacted these guys and explained that I had ordered this coin but had wrote down the slab number which was NOT the one they sent me.
They checked to make sure they still had that one and did. So I sent the first one back and had to wait until that coin made it back before they sent the correct one. Meanwhile in Tuesday nights auction there was a 1951 d/d in ms 66 for sale. I decided to not bid in hopes that the coin I bought was right.
Today the coin arrived in the mail and I was thrilled to see that I was indeed right. I found an au 58 raw last year and this coin is a Great Upgrade at the Right Price. They also refunded the 3.50 it cost me to send them the wrong coin back. I will send this one to our host to get a nice true view and the Variety on the label. This coin has a pop of 13 with one coin in 67 and another one in 66 and mine will make the second 66 discovered.
Enjoy Tom

Not by a long shot.
Nice score, indeed! Way to go, Tom.
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
Superb quality for a 66.

Nice!
Very nice quarter, and although the seller made an error, they seem to have fixed it nicely - Good to hear that you have a nice coin after all.... Cheers, RickO
