Which Merc Variety pic do you like better, mine or the PCGS True View?

This is one of the first Mercs I have sent in to PCGS in a long time. A few years ago, I Cherrypicked this unattributed in an NGC MS67 CAC holder. As a 1942-S, it is a better 1940s date, especially in MS67. This S/S RPM-003 is not a variety that PCGS blesses for their complete variety registry set just yet but maybe it will be one day? I prefer my coins in PCGS holders and finally sent this one in. I had taken a photo of the coin and was interested in how it might compare with the PCGS True View. Normally, I write on the submission form requesting that Phil handle the photography of my submissions but did not this time and figured I would just let it ride. For the amount of time that they spend photographing each coin, they do a FANTASTIC job! If I was forced into spending the limited amount of time that they do when photographing a coin, it would probably end up being an oblong blurry blob of poooo. Lol. About this coin, it is not CAM/DCAM or anything of the sort. Some coins can be tougher than others and I do recall spending a bit of extra time with this one. My hope is that if this variety is ever added to the Complete Merc Variety Registry Set, I will have an instant Top Pop that will be tough to beat.
I took this photo after cracking it out of the NGC MS67 CAC Holder.

Yours is better.
Your pic shows way more detail in the fields. The PCGS pic shows more luster.
It's a draw!

I prefer yours....Thanks Ron
Yours
Top pic. Why would you crack it?
I prefer your pic, and I love the 42-s. Luster! Truly beautiful.
Dave
I prefer the PCGS Holders and more importantly the PCGS Registry, which only accepts PCGS slabbed coins.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I do agree that both sets of images have their better attributes. It's probably pretty disgusting the amount of time I probably spent trying to get my images right. Lol

I think the coin looks better in the Trueview but I think I have a better idea of what the coin actually looks like from your pic.
Yours. I like the obverse field presentation on yours better. Shows more brightness. And your reverse has a softer/lighter presentation of the toning which is appealing to me.
My thoughts too.
I like your pic.
Yours, I have always preferred the images that excellent photographers make of their coins when comparing them the PCGS Glam shots. If only all of the coins looked exactly like their Glam shots, but usually they don't........
Best, SH
Beautiful coin and your picture is superb.....nothing wrong with the TruView, however, if find yours shows more detail. Which brings me to the question... Are the 'lines' in front of Liberty die polish lines? Cheers, RickO
Thank you and yes, those are die polish lines.
