Just a thought - you may want to try white or grey backgrounds and see how they compare. A lighter background may make the coins "pop" more.
I am trying to figure out how to change color of background on my software. Thanks for the tip.

The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

What type of camera box and lens do you use?
I use a Cannon Rebel XS with a tether to my computer. I use a Rodenstock lens mounted on bellows. With a copy stand. I just shoot right on the dining room table.

Both coins show nice toning. You captured it in both pictures. The second pic looks a bit more cloudy to me.
The first coin is struck a little weaker then the second, and shows rub. It's an AU coin, probably around AU-53.
The second coin looks uncirculated, and if there is any wear, it would be no less than an AU-58.
I'm thinking it's an MS-64.

I see a pair of nice 64s.
No thoughts on grades but the pictures are super.
Gem characteristics. AU details.
Same here.

WOW.........pictures. That first coin that is a 64 sure shows a LOT of wear in just the right places. Fooled by pictures again!
