My 1st toned silver (very tiny) purchase I hope qualified for rainbow toning?

I am happy to see beautiful mix of green, lavender and gold tones on this tiny coin. Will the toning process continue as it ages?

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
....elusive rainbow.......![:/ :/](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
toning will continue...right up until the whole thing is black.
Paradisefound.....when you are wanting "rainbow toning", what are YOU looking for?
Reason I ask is that, as JCM says above, it isn't rainbow toning on that one. Not really even close.
Think of a rainbow in your mind and then see if you see that on the coin(s) that you have/want. There are good examples in many threads on the forum here. Morgan dollars have some of the most examples I have seen. Washington Quarters, Kennedy Halves, and many dimes also seem to exhibit many.
There are some SAEs but, imho, most of the NT ones aren't really rainbow toning for SAEs. Some are, due to the holders they were in, but not really a large %
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Rainbow colours for sure. Love the old Macroweave slab too.
I don't think that would be 'rainbow' toning. Do you see what looks like a rainbow on it? Because my eyes don't.
Successful transactions with: wondercoin, Tetromibi, PerryHall, PlatinumDuck, JohnMaben/Pegasus Coin & Jewelry, CoinFlip, and coinlieutenant.
What you see may be more obvious in hand when manipulating the coin... it does not show up in the pictures. As mentioned above, the larger silver is more prone to the 'rainbow' coloring.... as well as to the attention of 'doctors'....be cautious when pursuing this line. Cheers, RickO
