Is it an "error coin" if the only defect is paying too much?

That's tuition
I believe that's called a coin for which tuition was paid.

No; if the only problem is that you paid too much, it is a 'New Orleans' coin - I.e., mostly underwater.
I'm laughing Roger. How did you think that one up? Oh yea! You're funny!
.
Well....if this is true, then I have several SPECTACULAR errors!!
What if you paid too much for an error coin, which I have !
Absolutely!
If I can't re-sell it for too much money, then it wasn't an "error coin," after all.

They all bring me happiness. Some when they come and some when they go.....
In many cases, paying to much is not an error.... it was the cost of acquiring an item that an individual has deemed he/she MUST have.... Therefore, the cost is secondary to possession. I have one or two like that... and no regrets. Cheers, RickO
