1971 d penny I and B letter error

I may have asked this before but my penny has the letters I and b in liberty attached together. I have seen about two or three pictures of this on the web. If someone can help identify this penny that would be great thanks in advance

@gabe9991.....Welcome aboard. I believe what you have there is post mint damage. I have checked the CPG and there is nothing listed for this date/mm....and the '72 cents with a similar issue do look very different. Cheers, RickO
It is probably a case where the letter was scraped to the right. I can't tell from these pics if the surface there looks damaged.
Pretty easy to do deliberately with a brass punch and small hammer, or accidently by contact with other items.
It looks like the "I" was pushed to the right,
just into the "B" - yes, as posted above, PMD
Good question on your coin. I would wonder about it also.
But it is, in fact Post Mint Damage as explained above by those "in the know".

What all the above said. If you look closely you might see a push mark right after the L in Liberty... pushing the I into the B.
