LOL, does this mean the letter of apology I have (and the corrected COA's) for the 2003 Silver Proof sets are worth big bucks? :)

(The COA that came with the sets had the dime and half incorrectly id's as clad, instead of 90%. The apology and corrected COA's came unsolicited.)

BTW, I bought the LBJ C&C directly from the mint using two different accounts and I don't think I ever received an apology letter. I feel left out now...

    Edit: Becuz I kant spel...

Wow 2 people paid $30 for a copy of a email...

Gosh and I thought folks buying used underwear on eBay was the wackiest thing I'd seen! :p

I also ordered LBJ C&C at the Mint, did received the email, maybe I should print it, put in gold plated frame and sell for big bucks (LOL. (Well, at least the one listed on eBay came with 5 grain of silver - how much is that in $$$?)

Worth less than 5 grains of salt based on the cost of the printed email ;):D

:o Really?? A copy of a letter from the mint?? People are actually paying for?? Wow... this leads me to believe I may be able to sell the junk mail I have been throwing out every day...I too thought used underwear was the epitome of weird... well, it is .. but this is certainly a contender. Cheers, RickO

How much are those 2003 replacement cert's going for? I sold several years ago with the sets and don't remember a premium on them. I do still have one left.
