Are they fakes? >:)
I have no idea about US coin fakes but something is highly odd looking at the prices
Seller did have Canadian Fakes.

Don't know why anybody would be suspicious. I mean sure, you say he did have other fakes, and these all have virtually identical appearances. What a shame that, as he says, "I do not have the funds to send for grading".

Successful BST transactions: EagleEye, Christos, Proofmorgan,
Coinlearner, Ahrensdad, Nolawyer, RG, coinlieutenant, Yorkshireman, lordmarcovan, Soldi, masscrew, JimTyler, Relaxn, jclovescoins, justindan, doubleeagle07

Now listen boy, I'm tryin' to teach you sumthin' . . . . that ain't no optical illusion, it only looks like an optical illusion.

Just thought it was odd, very odd.
he can walk in to any coin Dealer and sell 2 or 3 of them which would give him the funds for having these graded in Britain or sent to PCGS in Paris.
    I maintain : very odd

I don't think it's odd - just the usual subterfuges from the typical "I found it in grampa's attic" seller. Needless to say, having them graded will pay very well if they are genuine. That tells you all you need to know.

I looked at his coins for 10 seconds, and that was 10 seconds too long.
