1880-P Vam help please

I looked, but had no luck identifying it. Where loops meet in first 8 would be the pick-up point I'm guessing. Anyone?

Have no idea if that mark is a PUP. It is significant enough that you should have found it by looking at each VAM. It may even be a scratch.
There are a "million" VAMs for this date. If you want some of the VAM experts to give it a try, post the entire coin with some magnified images of any significant doubling or die polish.
The line going through the left side of the loops of the first 8, and above it, looks like either a PMD scratch or debris strike thru. Pic is a bit fuzzy though.
No idea what that 'line' is... Though I am not a VAM expert, far from it... it does not look like any I am familiar with. Cheers, RickO
