Here's a guy with a lot of straight graded crap. Artificially toned crap that is.

First saw a couple of his listings a few weeks ago.
These two look eerily similar.............
And then there is this winner.............

My guess would be that these coins were white, already certified by PCGS, gassed in their holders and then sent in for reholder and TrueView.

Well it’s nice the seller adds this to the description:
NOTE: We know very little about coins and coin collecting and will try our best to answer questions about this coin if you have any. This as well as many others were purchased from a private estate sale recently and will be sold over the coming weeks. Unfortunately I do not have any history of the coin or know anything about it's origin. Please view the pictures and bid accordingly. This coin was certified by a professional grading company and is top notch!
Maybe the edynamic estate?
These remind me of "Orlando Toned" coins. A number of the Peace dollars seem to have been disavowed, but a number of the silver Onzas are still there like these are still certified.
Certainly looks AT to me. I wouldn't want them.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

IMO, these were sent in raw and made it through. I have seen this occurring for several years. Those grading the moderns either didn't know or didn't care. The market is flooded with them.
Edynamicmarketing ?
I forget the link, but a few weeks ago there was an Ebay seller with raw Indian cents, around 15 or 20 different years, which had that 65 look about them, and every one of them was toned almost identically, which is about as close to the meaning of impossible as possible - LOL
I would be sure that none of them would grade from any reputable TPG.
These coin doctors get more clever with their coin doctoring techniques all the time.
I tend to agree with Senor Bolivar. But toned coins are very market acceptable and the TPG's seem to want to be the gatekeepers of this part of the market. I have never been bagged on a submission of a toned IHC proof. But submit an RD IHC proof and it will be bagged about 99.9% of the time as .91 Questionable Color.
I have bought coins(toned Lincoln proofs) from ED that were graded by PCGS and found them to be NT. FWIW.
OINK
It takes all kinds of people... that makes our world go around. Mix the bad with the good.
Those are not even close to NT.... for sure not by the better AT people out there today.... Too bad, but no doubt they will sell. Cheers, RickO
Description calls it Target Toned. Geez
Best place to buy !

It's not impossible to get NT that looks like that, although it depends on your definition of NT. Canada cased dollars in the 70s toned similarly because of the foam used to pack them. Of course, we can argue all day over whether it's natural or artificial because of the foam. Then again, you can argue that all toning is "unnatural" because it is due to contaminants in the air. Or, it's all "natural" because no one intentionally forced it to happen.
If dummies wouldn't overpay for these wretched things the problem would solve itself
ill pass on all of it
Maybe there is a scenario where the color developed depending on where/how it was stored? Not plausible. I guess you could come up with a way that this hair got colored accidentally on purpose "naturally".
Careful you will set the toner snowflakes off
I sort of agree. The problem is "overpay" implies some kind of objective value. Why do people "overpay" for circ Morgan dollars that only have $12 worth of silver in them? Why do people "overpay" for MS70 or PF70 modern coins? Why do people "overpay" for common GSA CC-dollars?
People pay what it is worth to them. The market is what it is. Frankly, if people like AT and want to pay a premium for AT, then AT will become the norm. It wasn't so long ago that white mattered even more than cleaned which is why almost all bust coins have been at least dipped at one time.
I think 1916-D dimes are way overvalued as are S-VDB cents because people insist on date/mintmark collecting. Why would I want a VG 16-D for $1000 when I can get a 67 FB 1941 dime for a little over $100. Except for the date/mm, it looks the same except way prettier. But, as long as people want 16-D dimes, I'm not going to sell them for $100...or try to buy them for $100.
Nope. This run all has sequential cert numbers. Almost 3 pages of this stuff in CoinFacts.
Check out my iPhone app SlabReader!
over 18 pages of CoinFacts uploaded yesterday - wow
I think most of those are natural toned.
It would seem they don't care to take the time to distinguish.
Duke Nuk'em...........just a bunch of Star Dreck to me.

But read his headlines! These are
EXTREMELY UNIQUE!
Kind regards,
George
Did edynamicmarketing get preferred provider status?

(I’m obviously joking...)
Haven't seen this crap for a few day's, The reports may be paying off , this doctor only has 3 coins up for sale now. Of course he could have a new batch in the oven.
Agreed
