Some Great Deals?

I wasn't sure what to make of this company's "live auction event" on ebay, much of the numismatic gold went under melt or below wholesale: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=&_sacat=0&LH_Sold=1&_mPrRngCbx=1&_udlo=1000&_udhi=20000&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=15&_stpos=06840&_fss=1&_fsradio=&LH_SpecificSeller=1&_saslop=1&_sasl=gulfcoastjewelrycoinauction&_sop=12&_dmd=1&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc
It looks like the customers who consigned this group got hosed, no?

18% buyers fee added to final price. Plus you get to pick up or probably get hosed on that, too. $20 gold sold for $1,200 then add the 18% = $1,416.
Yes, buyers take the brunt.

Interesting you look at the sellers past and all his items are 30 to 80 bucks but now he is selling high dollar items. Almost like someone got ahold of his account and fenced off a bunch of either stolen or fake items. But then again he has been selling since December the high dollar items yet nothing in the comments. Very strange Glad I did not buy any. Now there is nothing else for sale they just slip away in the night.
But then again its probably some auction lot that really has the items. Who knows all I can say is use your credit card and pay pal your usually covered.
Interesting !!!
I am not sure those are actual closing prices as they sell through invaluable, auctionzip, liveauctioneers, and their own website,

There should be an icon showing a person whistling and walking away....
That would be me....

I don't know why ebay allows this with contractual obligations within ebay bypassed by this company which has lots of add ons to the sale price.
