Anyone remember these? Pics added.....................

I still have dozens of dollars in these old "slide top" holders. Precursor to the Capital Plastics two piece snap together.
Make your own label and just plop them in and slide it shut! Show me your old holders!

    Don't take up much room as easy to stack. But, they did scratch a bunch.

    I guess I will show my age and say yes I remember them. I don't have any now though.

    I also remember when there were 4 grades of UNC. BU..ChBu..GemBu and SupurbBu. Now there are 22! :o

    I don't think I was collection in those days yet we were still using MPC no coins around where I was.

    The problem with these was that they could hairline coins if debris was between the coin and plastic. The snap type does not have this problem.

    Same problem with cardboard two-sided albums with the acetate plastic slides by Library of Coins, Whitman, etc. If not careful they could put hairline scratches on coins.

    Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.

    I've got one like that with a black insert labeled for a 1923 Peace Dollar. Picked it up on Ebay and have seen a few more since then.
