Found an appropriately priced 1903-O Morgan In Proof Like... After 3 years of searching.

Finally filled the Registry Set gap that had been bugging me for quite some time.

I don't really have anyone in my personal life who finds coin collecting interesting but I am so excited to have this coin that I had to share with someone (or some forum).

A big shout out to Great Collections for the good pictures and to @ianrussell for creating great collections so I could find this coin.

@hutze1nm; Is your registery set all prooflike? As a Prooflike newbie, is the 1903-O a tough one, or was it just hard ot find the right one?

Yes, it's all PL and one DMPL (1892-1895 spots are all vacant though) But it is the easier to put together date set: https://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/alltimeset/150690

You can buy a 1903 in PL all day long but the prices they are asking are generally more than I wanted to pay. For example there is a 1903-O in MS64PL for $1150.00 as of my last looking on Ebay but that's more than the coin is worth to me which was around $800-ish max. 1903-P in PL seems even harder to find (I've only come across 1 in 3 years) and 1903-S is rarer and out of my price range by thousands.

Nice pick up. It is a date you tend to see floating around in higher grades not affordable grades. I bought a 62DMPL a long time back.

1903-P is very tough. I think I have a 64PL. Basically got it by chance encounter.

Nice set, lots of CAC.
