1953-S Wash Quarters - S/S? + DDO

Finally decided to compare these side-by-side.
I am confused on RPMs listed for this date.
Coin A (left) is purple obverse and bronze reverse.
Coin B (right) is getting slight rainbows in the spots that appear yellow.
What do you think of these MM's?
Mint mark for Coin A.
Mint mark for Coin B.
And for the bonus round...
Which is the DDO? And yes there is mechanical doubling present in both.
No cheating using PUPs!
Thanks for any and all help and I appreciate any input on both the MM's and doubled die(s).

My gosh I'm blind. I guess 1953-S RPM-001 is S/S south, Pop 5.
You guys think they both are?
Coin A looks more likely IMO.
They both appear to be DDO's. The MM's are not on the Variety Vista RPM list, but that does not mean the are not RPM's.
I couldn't find it on the standard variety Vista listings, but dug a little on Google and changed queries and found this page.

That's probably series doubling on IN GOD WE TRUST. All Wash 25c from 1951 thru 1954 will show this doubling.
I am unable to confirm true doubled die on these quarters.... definitely the mm's look as if they are S/S....Cheers, RickO
Does anyone have any 1950-1953 D or S that have an obverse die crack at the base of the bust (ddo or rpm or not), or a reverse die crack on eagles right wing with no DDO present?
I've got a 53-S with die crack on reverse eagle left wing (its right) and a 1950-D with the same thing.
I think I have these dates right.
Would mints exchange faulty dies? I think I've got these dates right. I'll double check when home. Wondering if Denver would ship them to SF, or Phil to Denver, or if this was just so common there's no point pursuing?
Same with the forehead die crack on 1953-S DDO MDS/LDS going back go 1950-D and S.
Cheers and thanks!
