US Mint still holding out on price...

Does it really make that much of a difference? Why not post the price of gold? Do they expect a sudden change in value? The American Liberty One-Tenth Ounce 2018 Gold Proof Coin is being released Thursday and still no price. It's almost to the point where the price will be revealed minutes before the sale. I expect it will be around 200.00 but it would be nice to know a little earlier.

These are bullion pieces and the bullion market rules when it comes to pricing. They have no interest in giving the buyer any bargains.
The delay in releasing pricing is just so they can revel in the OCD and impatience of collectors...
Cheers, RickO
You can bet there will be a large markup to bullion, what else do you need to know?
This product's price will be announced for your convenience on February 8, 2018 at 11:59 A.M. (ET).
Just wondering is this expected to sell out fast? Limit 5 per household I am thinking maybe I should get my 5? I remember the last one they sold in 2016 I believe sold out fast. Then send it out for grading out of the 5 I might get 2 at 70. But I like giving work to PCGS they do good work! I don't own any PCGS stock either. Ohhh great more money to spend!
You might be better off staying away from Mint products and just buying PCGS stock.

Got it does it even trade? I like that black puppy playing is that a new addition to the family?
It's going to be $215.
It's not like it's a guessing game this week. Average spot will be between $1300 and $1349...
$215 Thanks BRJunkie. I'm not sure if I even want one of these. 1/10 of an ounce is really tiny. Smaller than a dime?
I predict sluggish sales, household limits lifted after a few days, and a low mintage.
Gluggo, I don't think you would get 2 70's out of 5 coins. Isn't gold tougher to grade than silver because it's softer?? It's sometimes nice to just have a raw coin though.
