Standard newbie questions on grading scale

I have the red book but it gives broad aspects on grading so i thought I'd ask according to the book this would be a F-12 but what is it really?

Probably about right. There are differences between Redbook explanations and current market grading. One of the really helpful resources providing by our hosts is a photograde guide. Matching your coin to the pictures can be really instructional.

Thanks! Yeah the redbook just states F-12 Some Wheat line visible but warn and I know there is more to it than that and that was just a generic quick reference

Hard to tell exactly how much the cheek and jaw bones are separated because it’s dark in the photo but F12-VF20 is the range.
I think I see a folded corner someone ironed out!
