I will be doing a CAC submission soon. I will have room for maybe 15-18 more coins. If I can get 3 blue boxes into a regional rate priority box it might be more. Send me a PM if you'd like to ride along.

Si means yes. Yep, that's part of the price of submitting. Then again as TDN said, John won't be around forever.

My last batch is waiting for pick-up at the post office in Far Hills. If their usual turnaround time is going on, I should see my coins, and hopefully some beans, in two-three weeks. Registered mail is really slow...but secure.

I Sent 18 out this morning. Hopefully I have a 50% success like you did.
That's about average. I had 5 coins this go around.

Getting gold beans is really rewarding. You look at the coin and are convinced it deserves a green (or else you wouldn't even send it off) but then, surprise!!
Just shows that there is and has been a conservative slant to grading in the first place. Those that don't bean I look at carefully trying to figure out why. That's the best grading experience I've ever received.
I'd like to see the two golds.
I've let others submit in the past under my account, I'm not sure if they still let others do that with dealer accounts.
I got 10 for 10 greens on my last submission.
Do you have to get permission from CAC for that or is/are the submitter/s local?
From the beginning IIRC I've gotten around 70% overall for my stuff.
Here are the two golds. Both graded MS65. just your run of the mill BTW's
I'm not sure what the rule is. I sent submission forms to two people on this site who wanted it done. Since then I've gotten re-assigned to the "collector" category as I don't do that many submissions and have an average under 40%. I've sometimes been surprised at what gets the sticker and what doesn't.
I really like the tone on those two btw commems...the design...never been a fan of.

My latest submission is now 1 week in transit from the west coast. Hoping tomorrow will show up in Jamaica, then to Far hills by wednesday. What was the turn around time once CAC had possession?
Normally 1 week
5-6 days.
Still in Jamaica. Have not gotten a bill yet either.
Coins should be here tomorrow. I hope to have out by the end of the day.
