I just picked up a uncirculated 86 Morgan...I discovered it was a "closed 6" variety.
If i am looking at this right, The obverse has a small crack leading from the star to the left of the point of the neck line and continuing on the other side of the neck to the top of the "1". The "1", also has a notch under the top left of the flag of the "1". Am I seeing that correct?
The reverse has a die crack between almost all of the lettering circling the coin's reverse. I have seen the same cracks on the VAM website, just not like this. There is also a line in the left wing...
What are y'all thoughts on this one?
