1972 Dime , Motto Error

Have a 1972 D Roosevelt Dime, on the motto have faded IN, and missing WE.
Also the date has a faded 2.

    No numismatic value. It's just a dime that was poorly struck.

    IMO...Possibly a grease filled die. Hard to tell from photo. But most likely just a poorly struck dime.

    Not a collectible feature ... either poorly struck or possibly grease filled die (I lean more towards poor strike). Cheers, RickO

    Hard to tell from that photo only,
    but it's either the already-said
    minor filled die, or just weakly
    struck in that area.

    More of an anomaly than an error.

    You can keep it because of its' lack of definition as a showpiece, but it has no additional value.
