While checking my eBay search emails on my phone there was a token I wanted to glance at on my desktop. Yet decided it was late and I would boot it up in the morning to get a better look. As I walked past my dark office I heard the PC booting up. Since I'm home alone and didn't venture there all I can guess is it's either due to telekinesis or more like psychokinesis? ![]()

Token has a staple scratch & now I can't seem to shut my PC down with my mind
If it was my house, it would probably be my dog hitting my computer more than anything else.
I had a microwave oven do that before, the kitchen had indoor/outdoor carpeting.
I knew it would happen.
We have decided our house is haunted. Every few weeks we sprinkle Holy Water around to keep the incidents bearable.
Were you sleeping/hibernating the PC under Win10? I typically hibernate my Win10 machine, and it wakes up every once in a while all by itself.
I've turned off all the wake up features, and it still happens. It's probably some stupid application/resource that's looking to see if there's an update.
If it turns on from a power off state, call a priest and have the demon in your house exorcised.
Yep............my Win 10 comp does it too...........
Just hold down the POWER button and count to five. Let the Priest sleep.

I have never had that happen... and with all the computers in this house, it must prove that a) no ghosts or demons, b) no telekinesis, c) the cats don't know where the 'on' button is. There are always at least four - and usually six, operational computers in various rooms. If they start turning on by themselves, I will summarily put them out of their possessed misery.

Not sure how it turned on just know I didn't subconsciously turned it on.
My kitchen faucet sometimes turns on by itself. If unattended it shuts itself off in two minutes.
