Neat coin. I like it!
Here's my auction note: I'm not paying another 20% on top of a winning bid.
Looks a lot nicer than a VF-20
BHNC #203
Don't see anything alarming as it looks otay.
In this case the $3,990.60 includes the 20% bp. Seems like a good price. This VF25 brought $7,343.75 last summer. auctions.stacksbowers.com
Seems quite low for a truly rare, 18th century U.S. silver coin with nice eye appeal. A 1797 13 stars H10c is a really difficult item to acquire.
Nice coin.... I am totally enthralled with any coin dated in the 1700's... 20%bp does seem to be high though... Cheers, RickO
Why is it that all the coins I was interested yesterday sold for strong money and that went so cheap! I hope you got it.
Do you want to make $500?
Great looking coin. Wish I had seen it. I would have bid.
Thanks for all the comments. I was asking for anyone who had seen in hand why it went so cheaply. Most of the time this issue comes very ugly and beat up and it is truly very rare. This one from the pic looked above average and went very cheap. 4K with the juice is a big market change and I wondered if in hand there was something missing...
