How common are they with the clash seen under the chin?
@FredWeinberg
pretty common. Its known as "chin whiskers".
Pictures have frequently been posted here of the chin whisker clashes.... I do not think it has warranted a rarity number, but not overly common. Cheers, RickO
"Chin Whiskers" are common maladies in the Buffalo series. A clashed die is just plain "interesting", but t does not affect the overall grade.
It's a crap shoot as to the severity of how much of the clash (Blanked Die, in Mint lingo) shows.......it depends how well the Mint removed it.
I think they're just plain interesting....and give character to a coin.
