As best I can determine it is a Mexican Medal from around the 1960's.

This would be the centennial of the republic in 1967, Grove 965 if gold as it appears. Grove 965a if silver.
Highly enthusiastic about world coins, contemporary circulating counterfeits and unusual stuff
Methinks a very nice find!
I haven't seen it before. I wonder how many have avoided the melting pot?
That’s great. Thanks. The coin does appear to be gold. Any idea of finess and weight according to Grove?
