Very cool. Has anyone ever done an error type set?

One of the nicer Liberty Nickel 'mistakes' I've seen. Love it!

Sorry to say & y'all can spank me for the following...

As I had to scratch my head on the grade & non details holder on this as it has problems.

A.) That's not a UNC coin, as it has rub.
More so on the reverse, as the obverse was somewhat protected by the slightly cupped blank flan.
B.) It has corrosion on the reverse blank flan, the area that looks like rust.
C.) Active PVC on the reverse, the green slime.

Looks more like emotional grading instead of technical grading ;)

    Clips, not off-centers, but yes.

It is so nice to see a major 19th century striking error without a giant hole in the unstruck part of the planchet where someone made it into a charm.

    Sean Reynolds

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

Cool. Nice to see an error that doesn’t require a magnifying glass.
