There is a ruth on eBay and I'm not sure on how high to go. It's not graded so I'm needing some options about it. I had it at 50 but it's jumped to 75.00 with a day left. Please help me out on how high i should go and what psa will probably grade it.
EBay item number is... 282768082318

im always weary of raw old cards and low feedback...
doesn't that upper right corner look artificially rounded?
..let us know how it goes
I zoomed in on everything everything looks correct on it and I'm confident about the authenticity. I'm thinking it might get a 4 grade. So I'm not sure what I should bid to. Knowing i still have to pay psa, And it being a Ruth. I'm afraid my pc side of my brain will over take my hood on reality. Lol
if its authentic then its def worth the gamble for 77 bucks...good luck
I don't think it is authentic. I wouldn't waste your money. Not sure what checks out officially for you, but the pics are quite blurry to make it impossible to authenticate imo.
Please post a picture of the entire card in the auction, then I will give an opinion...

I'm going to go with no way. I love the line "a kid gave me a case thing to put it in" on the auction description.
Aged reprint. The description and 2 feedback tell you everything you need to know.
Its at 150.00 now. So someone must see something we dont. I think I'm going to take the risk at 200.00. I did ask them a few questions about it. They said the 2 other cards with different players was found with it. They found it about 7 years ago and everything was pre 1950's in the trunk. I asked about the other 2 cards and they said they have gave them to the kid that was next door, And the Babe was put in a safe.
Don’t walk run....
What are the odds the OP is the owner and is advertising here. Oh, and BTW Hi, hello, how are ya? welcome.

What is a op?
The "original poster" John
This says it all for me.
thats what occurred to me
I was going to post this earlier but thought I'd leave it to someone else this time. The OP either screwed himself with this thread or he got what he intended. Latest auction price was 145+---UPDATE: $225 with 1:23 to go
100% guarantee the OP is the seller and the card is an aged reprint. I don't understand why guys spend this much time, energy and thought to cheat people out of a few hundred bucks. With that type of talent and imagination they could easily make more money being legitimate business people.
op stands for Obvious Phony

that amazes me about a lot of scammers, criminals
100% fake
Happy that the board is not only savvy enough to spot a fake that is craptastic, but with a clever enough presentation, but goes above and beyond to call out the op as the obvious phony they are. Mods, feel free to ban the op; net gain for the boards. Maybe Jenny will disagree with me! Lol
I was wondering why it took so long to call this guy out. I guess we were being nice.

lol we will see it again. Definitely was a 2nd account of the seller. He just missed selling it at 250 too. Some people are greedy. It is bad enough you juice a fake $1 card up to 250 but you just don't know where to quit. Granted it is likely it would have been returned once verified anyway.

Prefer to buy in bulk.
I approve of the above stock image!
Other than the obvious illegitimacy of the card, I think that the hype man giving a PSA 1 a grade of a PSA 4 was my favorite part of this thread.

outbid a real bidder by $5 and won it for himself for $255.......it'll be back as well as the OP under a diff name
That $5 was just the next increment bid,i wonder how much higher he really bid. For all we know he could have got real greedy and bid $300+. Hopefully that $250 bidder smartens up and stays away on the relist.

looking at the bids, looks like he was bidding in $5 and $8 increments...just fyi...trying to be too smart bit him in the butt.....i agree hope all bidders smarten up with this seller.
