Great Southern closing auctions early?

I have bid a few times on their auctions but this is the first time I have seen them close an auction early, do they do it often?

First set of proof coins do not look proof to me....probably pulled to re-examine.
Second one does not match the NGC cert coin (note scratches on reverse below the A). Probably checking that one as well. They will pull coins when challenged by collectors. I pointed out one once to them and they pulled.

Editited: I do think that the NGC gold is the same coin, just pics throw it off. But, pulled to check is my thought.

maybe the half is unc, the rest look fine to me

I would say that fast action - such as demonstrated - when a coin is questioned, is admirable. Can always be relisted if found to be acceptable. Cheers, RickO
