At minimum, it's highly questionable. There's only one known variety of the 1806 large cent. Obviously, turning it into a ring does distort the designs, but I would say it does not match. Check the position of the "6" WRT the bust, and the hair point WRT the "E".

Many of the diagnostics are no longer visible, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if that were a Chinese coin.
