Remember when poor ricko started the disagree thread? Everyone was going nuts on who was giving every single response a disagree and so they had to give you the option to see who was disagreeing? Tell me you don't care about those clicky buttons. HA!

I like to receive a like when I post a pic of one of my coins; feeling like a cat that purrs with satisfaction. I also like that there are no dislike vote buttons, very likely protecting my ego. There is much to like about this forum!

Close but not entirely correct.
I was only a slut for a five-star rating. If all it took were "Likes" and "Agrees" I still would still be a whorish poster. I desire only two more badges (I'll never tell) excluding B'days. Then I'll get off the street and hopefully be loved by all.
BTW, care to post on my net grading discussion?

Likes and Agrees provides to me very beneficial feedback to my posts, especially when posting after a few cocktails. It tends to moderate my sarcastic behavior. I am on here to learn and share knowledge........if I want a fight I will call an old girlfriend.
@Broadstruck I like to receive a "Like" when I show my coins as it makes me feel good that someone is showing interest in something that I like and collect.

I just recently saw a interview by one of the original Facebook creators who stated they did studies on this.
Stating people getting a LIKE on a web post had the same physiological mood elevating effect as eating chocolate.
So do you feel like you just ate chocolate or completely different when you get a LIKE here?
That is beyond crazy... I guess people have fragile psyches these days and in constant need of reassurance. I only wish that something so simple would make me happy.

I didn't get a Like from @Broadstruck. Guess I'll go pout and eat some chocolate instead. Are there any bulk discounts on Likes?

Feelings don't matter. It's about the facts. The coin facts : and outside of that , seriously , who cares ? Let's have fun, in the process. (With coins, preferably)
There are a lot of folks who don't like me. I am okay with that. Some don't want me playing in their field. That's fine by me, too. I didn't get into a solitary hobby to be in a popularity contest. And I didn't go into a brick& mortar business to entertain guests. And unfortunately, I started on eBay playing , long before I came here researching or endeavor ing into a new field (for me) , at such a late stage in life.
I like the teachers. I like the whole truth. I don't care who dislikes or disagrees. Show me a coin you like. Chances are , I might like it too.
All this "likely" talk reminds me when actress Sally Field received one of her Oscars where she stated in her acceptance speech: "You like me,you really like me". As far as chocolate goes anyone remember the old Nestle chocolate bars? The milk chocolate version had Nestles in red letters on a white wrapper. And the almond version had Nestles in blue letters on a white wrapper.

You can't click for that (yet)
@Insider2 is a slut who will do almost anything to get you click on "anything".
He is trolling for clicks, nothing more or less.
Prediction 1) He will use his "like" button on this post.
Prediction 2) Based on our secret agreement, I will gratuitously disagree with him thrice.
I've tried to "flag" my own posts, but the Forum doesn't allow self-abuse

I may be able to help you get over it.
Not good enough to counteract a crusty disagree...

I just assume mine come from people scrolling the page on their iPhones and inadvertently push a like or lol with their errant thumbs.
