Not as visible with photos.
Both hands seem to have the normal number of digits. No polydactyly from these photos.
There are a number of minor DDs on these state and NP quarters. I might see what you are referring to but not quite sure.
The bottom photo you can make out what looks like a finger and finger nail, I admit the photo quality isnt there, but thats what it appeared like to me.
I'm not seeing it. Where are you seeing this phantom finger?
I don't see anything. Regardless, any "variety" that requires that much magnification and is still in doubt is not worth worrying about.
In this image, (enlarged) you have what appears to be a small die chip between the thumb and index finger.
That is a guess remind you, perhaps other will agree with this assessment.

that "fingernail" looks nothing like the other 4
Oh, I thought the issue was with his pinky finger...
I am talking about in between the pinky ans ring finger.
Sorry have to so this from my phone, trying to attach a different photo.
I admire people who can both look at and take decent pictures of such small issues. I don't have the time, patience, eyesight, or camera skills. But I agree with @291fifth that any variety this small probably won't be worth anything.

Well thats why I asked. I look at every single coin I come into contact with before throwing in change jar. Thanks to everyone.
the right stuff will be raised off the coin enough that it will be part of the surrounding, or nearby(ex:55DDO cent), design
I see the 'shadow' you are referring to... and it could be a touch of die erosion... definitely not an extra finger or DD.... Keep looking... there are discoveries to be made....
Cheers, RickO
And please be sure to post them here first so we can get a head start if a real rarity turns up.
I'm no doctor but I think that I see arthritis in those swollen knuckles.
