1935-S Peace Dollar selling at Walmart

I was a little surprised to see that Wal-Mart is creeping into the coin business. Has anyone purchased a coin from Walmart?

I actually think that is a positive for the coin market. What does everyone else think?

I also have fond memories of Woolworth's.

My mom bought my first Whitman Lincoln Cent blue folder from Woolworth back in February 1961.

Used to buy a large cup of coffee at Woolworth for 14 cents and look at their coins.

It's not Walmart, it's APMEX selling as a 3rd party under the Walmart site. Tons of companies do that.

I recall debating to sell through Walmart, or not sell through Walmart with our Ammo company, and we did for a short period and then stopped because they pay in 90 days and make deductions without proof upfront. Very poor for any business Cashflow, so I was very surprised. I will wait too see the outcome for APMEX then. Guess this could be different if it is just a Drop ship. But who collects the funds?
