Coinstar disappointment.

About a week ago, my wife and I were at the cashier's paying for our groceries. The Coinstar machine is right across the aisle we were in. I saw a lady leaving the Coinstar and I had heard some coins drop into the reject bin. I told my wife I was going to go check it out and an old man went to the machine just before I got there and pulled the coins out. As I approached, he said, "Wow, two silver dimes and three wheat pennies." I haven't seen anything in the machine since. Win some, lose some. MDH

You probably could have beat him in a foot race to the machine!

It was two-on-one... wife blocks old man with cart, you dive for reject slot. Easy-peasy. B)

Gotta practice hard if you want to be ready for game day!

The exact same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago.... and the older gentlemen commented to his wife about a 'silver dime'... I did not hear the full comment.....but she just looked at him and shook her head. :D Cheers, RickO
