    THey've been around for years.
I used to do a bit with them, not recently, although all the deals were satisfactory for both parties.

    "No problem" transactions with them.

I have bought many things from them over the years... never a problem. They have been around forever and have a large inventory of entry-level coins/proof sets/moderns/etc., and, more recently, a pretty big inventory of certified type coins.

I've dealt with them in the past, and always received good service from them. I hadn't purchased much of anything from them for awhile, and very recently made another purchase, and the recent transaction was every bit as good as the previous ones.

There WAS an issue with one coin, about 18 months or so, ago, and they didn't hesitate in taking the return. They did have a second example they had just purchased at the time, and offered me my choice of a full refund, or an exchange for the second example. Seriously undergraded, the replacement was so much nicer than the original coin, there's no doubt they could have asked more for that piece. I'd have NO problem using them again, which I'm sure I will. Just MY experience with them.

    I'll come up with something.

Yes quite a few transactions and they are smooth as butter to deal with.

Don't know Peter. Isn't he the pumpkin eater that picked a peck of something?

    Nah

If it is ungraded and the $ is worth it, make grading part of the deal.

    Likewise if graded then CAC

Grading, alterations and counterfeits are the pitfalls of transactions on the buy side. Scares me to this day. Trust you or send it in.

I've bought coins off LC Coins on Ebay several times. I get the order in 2 or 3 days, never had an issue with the order at all, sometimes he included a PCGS holder holder, mails a printed catalog about once a month and the prices aren't that bad. Seems to me like a top notch seller in it for the long haul.

Several no problem transactions with L&C for me.

I bought a coin from L&C on eBay, it was an old ANACS holder with a very early cert#. When I received the coin it was not what was pictured, it was a much later ANACS holder but same grade coin. I re read the auction description and missed the fact that they use generic pics, which I find completely annoying! But it was clearly my bad for not reading the entire description. They took the return with no complaints and I appreciated that. They seem like a good company just be aware they often use stock photos on eBay.

Nice to see a thoroughly positive thread about a specific dealer. I have not dealt with L&C in the past, however, in light of the great references in this thread, I will check them out and if I find something of interest, will unhesitatingly buy it. Cheers, RickO

I don't know Peter as I used to speak with a woman in their office back when I collected $5,10,& 20 gold. She would send me 3-5 pieces at a time and I'd keep what I liked normally more then 50% of each package and return the rest.

The only fault I can find for them is that the prices on some of their doubled dies are very high.
