Sorry to be reading this as I meet Jerry nearly 30 years ago and just always knew him by face as a regular show goer.

He was truly a pleasant spirited gentleman who always eagerly shared his show purchases.

Jerry was a great man and a super numismatist. I remember setting up at a show at which he was set up at the next table. Very easy to talk with, extremely knowledgeable. I and many others will miss him. RIP, Jerry.

Oh, l am sick at hearing the news.

Jerry was a great guy and a very generous guy. He took my course at ANA Summer Seminar and became a good friend after that. So sorry to hear.

The very first trip I made as a representative of ANACS was to the Red Rose Coin Club in Lancaster, with Ed Fleischmann. Whoever picked us up at the airport drove us there past Three Mile Island, which had had a nuclear accident a few months earlier. Jerry was one of the people that made us welcome.

I never met Mr. Kochel, but the passing of someone who affected many others in positive ways makes me pause and reflect. My condolences to his family and friends.
