Take a look at these mint marks. Opinions?

The first picture is of a 1981 D Lincoln cent which looked to me like a d over d and the pictures following that are of a 1998 Roosevelt dime and I couldn't tell if it was some sort of die deterioration behind the mint mark or not because it looks as if there's another mint mark stamped underneath

Cent is just machine doubling.
The dime looks like damage.
All comments reflect the opinion of the author, even when irrefutably accurate.
I'm really not seeing the D/D on the cent (not that evident if it is) and it looks like 'die erosion' on the dime mint mark.

The cent looks like slight PMD..... The dime appears to have die erosion or die debris... do not see that very often....Cheers, RickO
