Does collecting Buffalo Nickels give you a headache?

Here's a little piece of Depression era Americana I found in one of those usually useless online "estate" sales.
A small stash of each date from 1913 to 1936 was included in Bayer Aspirin bags. No 1937s so it seems the original collector stopped his/her hoard.
Total of over 100 nickels (over $5 face) which was a pretty big deal back then. Seems totally authentic as all of the coins are
typical of contemporary pocket change in VG to XF condition and the aspirin bags appear to be printed 4/1/1935.
Imagine if all we had was "familiar music" as home entertainment. Who knows, a conversation might break out!

Yes.
Yep-me too.

Joe, looking at your Buffalo Nickels is almost like taking one of those little blue pills!!
I am fortunate... have only had three headaches in my life.... and the last was back in the early eighties. My Mom was the same way.... virtually no headaches. So, no, looking at Buffs - or any other coins, does not give me headaches....just fun...Cheers, RickO
The nickels look good but I really like those bags - have never seen anything like that - I bet they have a little value as well. The promised relief from "neuralgia" (must have been cured in the meantime since I have not heard of it before) and the advertisement for an NBC radio show (pre-TV). Those are a real throwback to an earlier era. I wonder if the aspirins were dispensed by the local drugstore in those bags.
Neuralgia is a generic word for some types of nerve pain. Sadly, it still exists, and aspirin is not a mega cure.
Awesome lot to find at a local auction--neat find!
The only headache buffs give me is when I try to distinguish choice AU from Unc.

What an interesting find. I like it.
If it did, I'd look like these guys. All 1915-D BTW
