I saw long ago that even investing in silver involved a lot in either storage fees or theft risks. Silver takes up a lot of space relative its value when you compare it to gold, diamonds or platinum. You can fill up a safe deposit box with silver and have a small fortune, but certainly not a large fortune. With copper or bronze, the situation is far worse. It takes a lot pennies for it amount to anything. I can't see where hoarding copper cents will amount to much.
