Oh darn it.... I hate PC..... such rubbish....Frankly, I do not give a fiddler's gaseous expulsion if someone decides to be offended... there is no right not to be offended..... grow up and deal with life. Cheers, RickO

I miss Teletrade. It added some fun to collecting that seems to be missing now.
It added suspense, since you were bidding sight-unseen, anxiety as you listened to busy signals close to the closing bell, and the thrill of frantic bidding by punching buttons on your desk phone -- buttons on the handset weren't as good. Then the short waiting period right after the auction ended when you couldn't check winnings, after which you hoped to hear, "CON GRAT YOU LAAAATIONS," on winning some lots.

The online auction world could use a Thursday night event.
I think Teletrade auctions use to be Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday if I remember correctly.
The Monday and Wednesday auctions were mostly items that failed to meet reserve on a previous Sunday auction from a couple of weeks earlier.
I think Sunday nights now work best for most people being available to bid.

I miss them too.

I see PC on mint envelopes. Proof Coins is what is meant by it. Just to stay on topic, if anyone needs a picture, let me know.

Sundays seem overloaded. Heritage, GC, DLRC, plenty of Ebay dreck.
David Lawrence and Heritage as I recall offered Thursday auctions. They would have little competition that night.
