I am no expert but if that is a DD good for you. I have been keeping my eye open for one with no luck.

Does not look like one to me. The shape of the "blob" is wrong.

Looks like a DDO to me.

Are you looking at sources like coopercoins.com and coinfacts. com for visual examples of these finds? They can help you with IDs, and provide much helpful educational info besides.

    I think you got it.
Though, this should really be a "no brainer variety." Try and get some clearer photos. Start with good lighting and stack a couple of books next to your coin. Lay your cellphone on top, and it becomes a poorman's copy stand.
    Congrats

Sorry OP! I stand corrected. I remembered the extra ear as being more under the ear. Just looked in Cherrypickers. As was posted above..."I think you got one."

Yeah I made sure it was one I'm pretty stoked about it I just wish it was in a little better shape but still pretty happy to find it

It actually looks to be in pretty nice shape for a zinc cent.

I have no idea on value of these.

I searched forever to try to find one of these in circulation! I figured I might have a chance because it isn’t as obvious as some of the others. I never did find one so I had to cave and buy one a couple of years ago. Yours looks correct to me but a straight-on picture would help.

That nice of a find will really pump up the searcher's enthusiasm.
I have looked for one of those in circulation since....well, since 1984 probably, and have found none.
Persistence sometimes pays off, and when it does, it's refreshing to see.
Thanks for showing us your coin.
